Danuta Mieloch has spent her life immersed in the art and science of perfecting skincare. Over the last two decades, Mieloch has studied with the world’s foremost experts before founding her award-winning Rescue Spa. Mieloch has long worked to bring her technique and expertise into the hands of millions of people. With the launch of Danucera, Mieloch is now able to share all of her knowledge through science-backed, European inspired skincare.

Mieloch studied as a nurse along with dermatologists in her native Poland, then continued her education in Paris and New York under some of the most esteemed estheticians in the world. In 2004, Danuta opened her own acclaimed Rescue Spa in Philadelphia, then expanded to New York in 2017. Danucera is about mastering the ritual. It’s minimal yet powerful, rooted in clean, clinical, and intentional beauty. Mieloch emphasizes that it’s not about 20 steps, it’s about the right steps, in the right order. Skin doesn’t need confusion, it needs consistency. Danucera is the intersection of high performance and high integrity. It’s the daily discipline that brings long-term radiance. “I’ve had the privilege of touching thousands of faces over the last two decades. Being hands-on in the treatment room, listening to clients, studying skin under magnifying light—there’s no better education than that. Rescue Spa became my laboratory, my classroom, and my sanctuary. Everything I’ve learned about what skin truly needs—what works, what’s marketing fluff, and what delivers results—I’ve poured into Danucera. This brand is not theory, it’s practice. It’s the answer to 20+ years of skin questions,” she shared.

For Mieloch, clean beauty is more than being free from certain chemicals, “Clean beauty should be full of purpose. At Rescue, we curate products that are both effective and aligned with our holistic values. With Danucera, I took it a step further. For us, being clean means being non-toxic, non-irritating, and always results-driven. We focus on bioavailable ingredients that the skin can actually recognize and use. No silicones, no synthetic fragrance, no compromises,” she explained. “We source globally, but selectively. I care deeply about ingredient integrity and how raw materials are harvested. Our Kombucha, for instance, is crafted in Japan. Our botanical oils come from responsible European sources where sustainability and potency go hand-in-hand. Every ingredient has a story—and I make sure it’s a good one before it touches your skin.”

Inflammation, dehydration, congestion and dullness are the most “modern skin epidemics” Mieloch would see in practice. “So many people are overstimulating their skin and wondering why it’s acting out. I created Danucera to reset the skin’s natural rhythm. With just a few products, you can nourish the barrier, refine texture, brighten tone, and most importantly, restore the glow. Cerabalm, for example, is the skin’s rescue remedy. It cleanses, calms, and hydrates all in one gorgeous moment,” she shared. “We blend biotechnology with old-world wisdom. Kombucha is a postbiotic powerhouse—it balances the microbiome and enhances clarity. Spirulina is rich in amino acids and antioxidants; it energizes the skin like a green juice for your face. We use bioferments, peptides, plant extracts—all selected for their ability to communicate with the skin. Danucera is about smart simplicity—each ingredient has a reason, a role, and a result.”

The name Danucera is a blend between Mieloch’s first name, Danuta, and the the word “cera,” which means complexion in Polish. “It’s a love letter to my heritage and to every face I’ve ever treated. “Cera” is personal. It’s intimate. It reminds me that skincare is more than surface—it’s soul care. Danucera is about honoring the skin you live in and elevating the ritual of caring for it,” she explained. The line includes eighth hero products like the D22 Tonic, Cerabalm, Mega Serum and Iconic Eye Serum.

With Danucera, Mieloch is bottling her expertise and touch in an easy-to-use, effective system that gives luxurious facial results at home.
